Tooth stone cleaning

There are many different types of bacteria in the mouth. These bacteria use food debris to produce an acid that damages teeth and forms plaque. Plaque, which has a sticky structure, collects calcium and other substances in foods and hardens if not cleaned. As a result, dental calculus, or tartar, is formed.

Because tartar can provide a more sticky surface area for plaque formation, it can also cause more serious problems such as cavities and gum disease. If you have such a problem, see your dentist immediately to have your teeth cleaned.

What should be done to prevent tartar formation?

Be careful to consume less sugary, carbonated and colored drinks. Brush your teeth regularly with appropriate toothpaste twice a day. Have your teeth cleaned by your doctor 1-2 times a year.
